the design process
CONSULTATIONComplimentary, my friend! Whether you set up an appointment to visit my Duluth home studio or request samples of invitations or announcements be sent to by mail, you will see and feel the quality and variety of artwork available at Grace Press Design. I am always happy to get them in your hands, so that you can touch and see, close up, the subtle nuances and quality of each invitation I make. My hope is that you will soon appreciate the artwork on each invitation paired with offset printing. I will get a chance to listen to your vision, brainstorm a flow of ideas and give you a price quote immediately if not soon thereafter. You may also take some samples with you to “think about it and consult with your people.”

DESIGNOnce you decide to engage my designs, I’m yours! For sure there will be some back and forth between you and me while deciding on all things colors of the rainbow, layouts and of course proof reading the copy. This is done via email, photo sharing and conversations ‘tween you and me. The more I understand your upcoming event, the better I can create an invitation or announcement suited for said celebration. Because each invitation is hand-krafted, you will appreciate the artistic variety of each invitation, just like the individuals on your guest list! Please allow approximately two weeks for this step of the design process.

APPROVAL & PRODUCTIONOnce the final approval for artwork and copy is complete, it's time for me to work my magic! Production times vary based on type and quantity, but generally follow the timeframes outline below. Please note that the client signs off on proofreading the final copy and is ultimately responsible for any typos or omissions.
